Part of the mission of Critical Mass Interactive, Inc. is to foster communication and information sharing in the interactive development community, inclusive of publishers, developers, the investment community, governmental and educational institutions, hardware and software providers and interested individuals. Through sponsoring the Austin Game Initiative and its many events, CMI is directly involved with this communication and education effort. CMI also interacts with the City of Austin, the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas – Austin, SMU, University of North Texas, and other universities in the State of Texas. We are also on the Advisory Boards for both Computer Animation and Game Design and Development at Full Sail Real World Education in Winter Park, Florida as well as Austin Community College's Video Game Certificate Program and the ArtSpark Initiative.
