Ice-Age

ANIMATION

Our senior team member, Jayme Wilkinson, was involved with the technical art direction and stereoscopic 3D processing for the “Ice Age” movies, “Horton Hears a Who”, “Rio” and other animated features at Blue Sky.
Our CMI art production team completed over 22 minutes of CG character animation, including sets and modeling, for the film, “The 2Bobs” which was screened at SXSW in Austin.

 
 

Epic Mickey

DESIGN

CMI provided several Level Designers for Disney’s “Epic Mickey” project, produced at Austin-based Disney/Junction Point. Our Design Team has also ghost-produced, and designed, over 250 titles on mobile and PC for a variety of publishers and clients.

 
 

Tabula Rasa ART

Our CMI Art Team has contributed triple-A production value assets for the “Ultima Online” franchise for Electronic Arts, THQ/Relic’s “The Outfit”, Majesco’s “Jaws Unleashed”, Spark Unlimited’s “Turning Point: Fall of Liberty”, and many other titles for Sony, Vivendi/Universal and others.

 
 

Tron EvolutionART and DESIGN

Our CMI Design team worked on all of the Multiplayer levels for TRON: Evolution, from pencil layouts to final Level Builds and Implementation, working with the Disney Core Team at Propaganda Games in Vancouver. Our CMI Art Team completed the additional art assets and final aesthetic polish for these Multiplayer Levels, as well.

 
 

Spongebob PRODUCTION

The CMI development Teams have completed full production, from concept to completion, on video games, simulations and films, including “Spongebob Squarepants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman” (as BigSky Interactive) for THQ, “Air Dominance” for the USAF, “Freaky Pets”, “MedWorld-M”, VFX on “The 2Bobs”, Encore’s Hoyle Frontline 2012 products, Mashed Studios’ 3D Video Slot Games, and we are in full production on our current project, “The Boondock Saints”!

 
 

Rift

PROGRAMMING

Critical Mass Interactive, Inc. signed on as the Contract Outsource Manager for Trion World Network early on in the establishment of the Company and their technology/product development cycle. CMI was charged with developing many core technologies underpinning the MMO publishing platform which launched and supports “The Rift” project. We found several technology teams and managed their efforts on behalf of TWN, through to prototype launch which gained them full funding towards the final project launch. (Primary Functions: Programming, Outsource Project Management)
